This is a brand new model that has been released by Ebbro, and is a co-operation between Ebbro and Tamiya, the kit has new moldings for the front cab, clear parts and rear van parts, the rest, engine/gearbox, chassis and interiors parts are from the original Tamiya Citroen 2CV kit, that has, yet again, been re-released.
The decals included in the kit are for a French car specialist garage in Weybridge, Surrey, http://www.grovegarageweybridge.co.uk/ or a set of number plates to do an un-liverered French version.
It's just a shame that Ebbro didn't include more decals to do a more common Fourgonnette as would have been seen at the time in France and other Mediterranean countries, hopefully some of the aftermarket decal companies will come to the rescue.
The doors, both front & rear can be fixed in either the open or closed postion, but can't be fixed so they can actually operate, but still, a very nice option to have.
I have never built an Ebbro kit before, as they really don't make that many, and specialise in smaller diecast vehicles, but the instructions are typical Tamiya, although there has been a slight mistake in the seats, and Ebbro have included a correction sheet, (See above) basically the instructions have the seats labelled as going in the wrong postion.
